Intro 2 Coaching (Level 0 Courses) 2008The Introduction to Cricket Course is a non accredited 2.5 hour course designed to meet the needs of novice cricket coaches. It is presented in a hand’s on manner that shows how coaches can safely set up and manage groups of junior players so a worthwhile cricket session can be conducted. It also touches on the basics of umpiring, scoring and managing junior cricket teams that are playing cricket in the Milo in2CRICKET, school or club setting’s. Coaches are provided with the Orientation to Coaching manual along with further materials on basic umpiring and scoring. Two dates for Intro 2 Cricket / Level 0 courses have been announced for coaches in the Inner East Region. These courses are a great opportunity for new coaches/team managers to increase their knowledge of the game. It is suggested that the parent contacts the relevant person or centre themselves to discuss with the potential coach the specific needs of your child and what you are looking for.
